| New Customer Portal coming soon….You may or may not have heard we are getting a facelift. On March 20, 2024, we will begin enrollment to our new customer portal. We are very excited about this, as many of you have been asking for this for quite some time. Once live, you will be able to access the portal from the Universal Supply website in the “bill pay” section. You will be able to view, print and pay invoices via ACH and now credit card. Please note: Credit card payments will include a 2% convenience fee to cover credit card processing fees. This will also happen when paying by phone or in person. Enrollment information will be emailed on March 20, 2024, or can be obtained from any of our locations or through your sales representative. |
| Doors |
| Allegion has announced a price increase of approximately 2-14% on all products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 1, 2024. Amarr has announced a price increase of approximately 2-10% on all Entrematic garage doors. We will adjust all our prices effective with shipments on March 16, 2024. Atrium Windows and Doors has announced a price increase of approximately 5% on all new construction doors and accessories. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 11, 2024. Larson has announced a price increase of 3% on all products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 4, 2024. Paradigm has announced a price increase of approximately 4% on all 8-Series and 5% on all 5-Series doors. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 18, 2024. Paradigm announced the expansion of their collection with a new suite of patio doors, enhancing both their 5-Series and 8-Series products. Paradigm has also announced some discontinuations to their product line on April 1, 2024: Deadlite, Diamond Grids; Impact Glass; Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brass, Chrome, and Antique Oil Rubbed Bronze Brass Hardware; 8 ft. tall doors will have limited grid options; 5” Brickmould; Vent Stop on the 8-Series Slider; Paint colors within the tan spectrum; and Aluminum mesh screen and VistaVu screen. PlyGem Windows and Doors announced a price increase of approximately 5% on all new construction doors and accessories. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 11, 2024. Provia has announced several new product features and marketing enhancements: – Expand color palettes with 25 new stain and paint finished to align with home design trends – New glass options, including new Art Glass designs and black internal blinds – Addition of Matte Coal Black Endure hopper window with coordinating hardware Coal Black Tuftex Smooth Cladding Provia has also announced the extended lead times on all windows with laminate. Provia customers will now be able to purchase all black patio doors as part of their Endure product line. Silverline and Atrium Windows and Doors has announced a price increase of approximately 5% on all new construction doors and accessories. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 11, 2024. Simonton Windows and Doors announced a price increase of approximately 5% on all new construction doors and accessories. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 11, 2024. |
| Exterior Millwork |
| CertainTeed Millwork has announced they implemented a temporary change to the protective film used on their restoration millwork products. This will be implemented as a rolling change. They will provide an update on the status of their normal film supply in Q2 2024. Fypon has announced a price increase of approximately 5% on all products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on April 1, 2024. HB&G has announced that they are discontinuing all round PermaLite columns and some of their square PermaLite columns. |
| Roofing – Residential |
| Atlas has announced a 4-6% price increase on all shingle and accessory products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on April 1, 2024. CertainTeed Roofing has announced a price increase of approximately 6% on all products. We will adjust our prices with shipments on April 1, 2024. GAF has announced a 4-6% price increase on all Residential Roofing products, including Masterflow. We will adjust out prices effective with shipments on April 1, 2024. Owens Corning has announced a 4-6% increase on all shingle & accessory products. Owens Corning has also announced a 10-12% increase on synthetic underlayments. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on April 1, 2024. Tamko has announced a 6% price increase on all Residential Roofing & Waterproofing products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on April 8, 2024. Tarco has announced a price increase of approximately 3% on all asphalt products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 1, 2024. |
| Siding |
| CertainTeed Siding Group CertainTeed has also announced that they are making a production change to the Pacific Blue siding and soffit that will result in a DO-NOT-MIX situation. The D0-NOT-MIX will NOT affect accessories or Cedar Impressions – only Pacific Blue panels and soffit. This change is effective immediately. CertainTeed Siding Group has announced the discontinuation of the following items by year end. Atrium Windows and Doors has announced a price increase of approximately 5% on all new construction windows and accessories. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 11, 2024.
Larson has announced a price increase of 3% on all products. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 4th, 2024.
Jeld-Wen has announced they are discontinuing the manufacturing of their 2500 series wood window in 2024.
Paradigm has announced a price increase of approximately 4% on all 8-Series and 5% on all 5-Series windows. We will adjust our prices effective with shipments on March 18, 2024.
