Dear Valued Customers,
In 1995 we made the decision to replace our computer system. Back then, our current system was viewed as being on the leading edge of technology and allowed us the flexibility to grow as our business grew. This system also allowed us to add technology to our business that helped improve our overall customer service levels to you. Over the past 21 years, technology has advanced to a point where our current computer system has reached the end its life cycle. Along the way during the past 21 years, we have added market leading technology to our current system such as our WMS paperless warehouse management inventory system, Descartes delivery routing system, and Billtrust online bill paying software. We will be transitioning to a new computer system in the near future and those systems will continue to be used with our new computer system, and we will be adding new features that will allow us to help make doing business with us even easier for you.
With our new business system, we will be implementing a new phone based application that will have features such as:
- - Portal to view your invoices
- - Ability for you to view your open orders
- - Ability to view the status of scheduled deliveries along with the ability for you to receive an alert that notifies you of when your delivery has been made to your jobsite
In the coming months, an enhancement will be added that will allow you to access the portal online and export your invoices into the accounting software Quickbooks. When fully implemented, we will have the newest technology along with increased capability to bring you an even higher level of customer service. We are currently training our associates to be ready for the new system and expect a seamless transition.
